  9. Prochem Kilkenny based Prochem is an engineering consultancy specialising in biotech and pharmaceutical projects. Through InterTradeIreland’s FUSION programme, the company was partnered with the University of Ulster and a talented graduate to undertake a detailed 18-month assessment of computer modelling software in engineering design before investing in specialist software that has brought the company to the forefront of engineering design in Ireland. Prochem Engineering is now one of the only engineering consultancies in the country to offer a one-stop-shop for energy reduction projects within cleanrooms with the ability to design, assess, advise, project manage and construction manage retrofit projects without the requirement of an external simulation expert. This new capability will lead to revenues of up to €2million and potential new jobs at the company not least for John George Butler, the FUSION graduate who has since been offered a permanent position within Prochem. intertradeireland.com

FM Environmental Based in Greenbank Industrial Estate, Newry, FM Environmental provides specialist services to the pump and wastewater treatment industry and offers a comprehensive range of design, manufacturing, contracting and installation services for both the private and public sector. Through InterTradeIreland’sInnovaprogramme, the company was partnered with Central Solutions in Limerick to develop a turnkey IT solution for wastewater treatment compliance monitoring and management. The partnership provides the opportunity to combine Central Solutions extensive experience in the provision of data management solutions and their own track record in the design and deployment of wastewater treatment solutions for the water industry internationally. intertradeireland.com

Wright Quarry Products Wright Quarry Products Ltd is involved in the design, supply and installation of precast and readymix concrete products, and has taken on a talented sales graduate through our Acumen sales and marketing programme. The company appointed a motivated sales-orientated graduate to help identify and grow new markets in Northern Ireland and increase its sales. The graduate has since become the business developer within the company and is continuing to help them deliver into the target market. The company also took part in our FUSION programme to implement new design processes, reduce costs, lower its carbon footprint and increase sales. intertradeireland.com
