  1. L2 Trigger L3 Trigger Event Builder IF L4 Event Control L3 Trigger => L4 Farm SWITCH Node Id Request Node Id Reply L4 Trigger Reconstruction Farm Node Id Report Pull Protocol 1. When an event was built, it will be passed to T3 Trigger on same PC node. 2. After L3 Trigger accepted an event, it will request a free L4 node ID from L4 Event Control 3. L4 Event Control provides a L4 node ID if available. 4. L3 Trigger sends the event to the L4 node. 5. Upon receipt of an event, the L4 node will report itself as free again to L4 Event Control if it is able to receive another event. Fang Sun, 22/2/2000
