So… • n1 dm1 + n2 dm2 = 0Gibbs-Duhem Eq. • Ties together the behavior of the components in a Solution. • Divide by dX1 and rearrange: • dm1/dX1 = - (n2/n1)(dm2/dX1) • Multiply RHS by ntot/ntot • dm1/dX1 = - (X2/X1)(dm2/dX1)
