  8. LIGHTNING DETECTION • Only a portion of Brazil (Central Southern region) has a lightning detection network • - Data available in: www.rindat.com.br

  9. Wind Profilers and LIDAR (in Brazil) • There are no operational network of wind profilers and LIDARs • Experiments sone only in specific field experiments for research purposes (e.g. LBA Experiment in Amazonia)
