Namaste Ma'am, Here are our honest feelings about EARTHA and you. Back in 2013, when our daughter was about 4.5 yrs., we were looking for a good dance school around Sahakarnagar. Most people refused to take her as student because she was too young but Roopa Ma'am accepted her. Since then our strong association with EARTHA continues without any break. As we associate more with the academy, we discover intricacies of art forms not just dance but other aspects like music, discipline, mental and physical fitness. Over the years, we have observed certain aspects which keeps us fondly associated with the academy. Academy inculcates certain moral values which are a rarity these days. Disciples learn to work hard, respect Guru and elders, connect with the art with passion, bonding with fellow students which are not privileged enough. Multiple events like Ganesha Chaturthi, Dusshera celebrations connect students to our glorious rich cultural heritage. When the kids go outside for performance, there is a concern about the safety of the children. We have experienced if they are travelling or if we are late for pick-up, our child is in safe hands. There is no scarcity of love, care and affection for anyone in EARTHA. Our daughter has been getting good exposure of performing on different big stages. Apart from dance, she gets chance to perform in drama too. When we enter EARTHA, a feeling of auspiciousness and happiness surrounds us. We are happy to find an academy and Guru which provides much required all round development for our daughter. We thank EARTHA from the bottom of our heart, please keep it up, such qualities are priceless. Neenu Rana, Devendra Rana Parents, Saumya Rana (Jiya)
Namaskara, It's been a great journey for my child Nayana, she started when she was 5 years old and the way she has transformed under the guidance of Guru RoopaRavindran is very much noticeable. I like the discipline that is imparted and more than that they way our cultural values are instilled in the child is something noteworthy. The recitation of slokas, the introduction of yoga and the Guru Shishyaparampara makes the child value our culture and i am very confident that it will go a very long way as Nayana grows up. Guru RoopaRavindran our respectful salutation for all what you do and best wishes in the divine journey that you have embarked upon. Regards, Santosh MN(Nayana’s Father).
Dear Roopa Ma’am, First of all congratulations on 7th year journey of EARTHA and its Annual Event TRIKAM 2018. It is indeed a great pleasure to be part of Eartha through my daughter Ms.MayuriRajendran. When my daughter wanted to learn different forms of dance and continue to tap her feet, it is a co-incidence and God’s gift that I could get the reference of Eartha through my friends. I can tell you that the journey with Eartha is another great experience for her in Kathak, Kalari and Music. Further, I can say now with comfort that Mayuri enjoys your kindness, teaching and the cultural values you inhibit on her and the students of Eartha. She finds you as a great supporter, mentor and Guru. You are so dedicated to the field of Arts and Music which I also noticed in various occasion. You are so energetic and ever smiling personality which makes the students to approach you at any point in time, with great comfort. Your counselling and keeping track of their progress is amazing. Mayuri feels so happy that she is being recognized for her discipline and talent and she is full of joy to travel with you to various places for dance performances. No doubt, this makes her more strong as she is exposed to multiple forum. My heartiest thanks to you for recognizing her talent and continue to bring her up in this beautiful form of Performing Arts. Namaste Roopaji. Few words about your caricature. *What was the inspiration which made me to draw your caricature?*- your commitment to the society to develop Art, Culture among the children and youth through the traditional way of Dance and music.- your eyes are the ones which attracts children and build up confidence of learning- your 'smile' transforms the knowledge, love, joy to everyone around you- your body language shows that your commitment towards your Vision to give back something to the world in your own way.I wish my caricature of you represent all the points I have covered in my description.Thank you and wish you all the best. The most striking part about Eartha is the level of personal commitment and passion that Roopa ma'am has, for running the school. It is this warmth and down to earth atmosphere in the school that separates it from other schools.I had apprehensions initially about if my daughter will show interest in learning dance. But I was pleasantly surprised that she looks forward to going to the dance class every week, and makes me feel I made the right decision in choosing Eartha for my child. Regards, Deepthi M D
Dear madam, Thank you for giving me an opportunity to write few words about Eartha.I am Laya Lal's mother.she performed on stage for the first time at the age of 3 for her school annual day and that was an amazing experience for us.By seeing her interest in dance we decided to put her on a school which can help her to explore the wonderful world of arts.We heard about Roopa madam from our friends and our decision to get Laya into EARTHA was one of our key decision which turned out well for my daughter. EARTHA is giving equally importance to develop a good culture in kids ,to respect guru, parents and elders along with dance.. Thank you madam for helping her passion to become reality... Regards, Arya Lal (Laya’s Mother)
