Significant progress has been made in the development and circulation of the strategy, with comments received and discussed by the core group.

  3. Progress to date • The HIV and AIDS Strategy was present to the WSLG on the 17 of June 2009 • The Strategy was circulated to the WSLG for comments in July 2009 • Comments were received, and have been discussed by core group and considered In August 2009.

  4. Recommendation • It is vital that a Strategic Framework for Mainstreaming HIV and AIDS be tabled at the next WSLG for approval for the Water Sector to participate in combating HIV and AIDS
