  4. value-added services (VAS) are those services that offer differentiation or a value to the bearer service and the ability for telecom operators to charge a premium price. VAS include non-voice messaging services such as SMS, MMS, and wireless data services based on wireless data bearer technologies such as GPRS, WAP with VAS applications including mobile gaming.

Free Phone Services Access: • In other words,this service allows users to make calls to a free phone number for which the called party has agreed to pay for the complete cost of the call. • Access code: 1800 180 • Free phone number: XXXX(4 digits) • Access can be from any Telephone and it will not be charged. • Dial 1800 180 XXXX ALTTC/SW-III Faculty

  23. Virtual Card Calling Service • As Indian Telephone Card. This service is similar to the ACC. Here subscriber has to dial 16 digit card number to place a valid call. • Cards of fixed amount will be sold.The card number will be invalid after expiry of the amount or validation period. Virtual Card Calling Service Access: • Dial 1802 180. • You will be prompted to dial your card number. • You will be prompted the balance amount in the account followed by request to dial the destination number. • A VCC Call: 1802 180<A><16 digit card No.> <A><Destination No.> ALTTC/SW-III Faculty

Account Card Calling Service • To place calls from any PSTN phone to any destination no and have the cost of these calls charged to the account specified by the account card calling(ACC) number. • Personal identification number(PIN) is required for • Balance enquiry • Making call • Change of PIN ALTTC/SW-III Faculty

Account Card Calling Service • Subscriber can renew the account by depositing a fresh amount of money after expiry of existing deposit with in the validity period of the Account. • Detailed record for all the ACC calls will be sent to the subscriber for his information. • Only card no is required to place the call. Account Card Calling Service: • Dial 1804 180 from any telephone. • You will be prompted to dial the card no. & PIN. • Again, you will be prompted to put your choice if the card no. & PIN are found to be validated. • Choice 1 to dial the destination number.   31. Premium Rate Services • Concept of chargingon higher pulse rate for the Services rendered by the subscriber. • The pulse rate will be decided by the subscriber.
