  2. About Us Walk 91 was created by a Parks Victoria Ranger in Apollo Bay, based on his knowledge of the Great Ocean Walk.(Mark, pictured left, now works full time for Walk 91.) As Walk 91 is based locally,  you can  walk  in confidence, knowing we are never far away should you need us. On your arrival in Apollo Bay, we meet you for a personal and detailed walk briefing before your Great Ocean Walk commences. Your walking package will include a safety beacon (epirb), small first aid kit, maps and walking notes. You can request the use of walking poles, and  overseas visitors can also borrow a mobile phone if needed. All walks listed include transport to and from the walk each day, and bag transfers. So…all you have to do is carry a small day pack, and enjoy the walk! And remember, by changing accommodation as you walk,you reduce long transfer times, have the opportunity to meet some wonderful accommodation hosts with plenty of local knowledge, and create a memorable holiday you will never forget!
