When you need diagnostic imaging services, your doctor refers you to a certain facility for a variety of reasons—convenience, quality or even ownership in the facility. Typical scenario: You ask how much the procedure costs, the facility tells you it cannot let you know until you come in and it ‘pre-authorizes’ your procedure. After the procedure, and after insurance is applied, you get a surprise bill from the facility—more often than not, the bill is for much more than you thought. This is ridiculous.

Going “green” also means not wasting time and energy, ours or yours. No insurance hassles, plenty of locations, easy parking and shorter wait times means patients can get quickly back to their day.

  6. Affordable CT Scan One low price. All inclusive. At many imaging facilities, you pay two separate fees: one for the facility and another for the radiologist who interprets your test. You probably will not know either cost up front, and the radiologist may or may not be a participating provider in your insurance network. After the procedure, you receive a bill from both and you’ll probably be unpleasantly surprised by the price.
