GW6 Objectives • Promote social interaction between female graduate students • Foster a sense of unity and common identity among women within the department • Provide a support network and arena for discussing issues pertinent to women in academia • Promote personal and career development of female graduate students • Develop relationships between female graduate students and faculty members • Facilitate outreach to the community at large
