  5. This is a kora, a 21 stringed instrument that is played in Senegal.

  6. Irma and I listen to Pape play the kora

  7. Tony plays a hollowed out gourd

  8. This is Ousman N’Diaye playing the djembe drum. It is carved from wood and the head is made of goat skin.

  9. Here Bob plays the gourd and Jason plays the djun djun.

  10. Total concentration during the djembe lesson.

  11. Ndongo Diop, Massamba diop, and friends teach us how to play the sabar drum.
