  4. Separate gym facility • Ample parking • Incorporating many design elements to make this truly a “21st Century school”

  5. $100,000 Library • $450,000 basic furniture • $524,000 basic computers/technology • $50,000 non-instructional equipment • $35,000 instructional supplies • $38,000 additional technology • $80,000 start-up expenses Total of approximately $1.3 million in other expenses

  6. As of February 20th . . . 240 6th graders (129 from Rockwell and 109 from Spanish Fort Elementary) 228 7th graders 210 8th graders For total of 678 students . . . . . . and we are still growing!

  7. 75 Employees: • 27 Core Teachers (Math, English, Literature, Social Studies, Science, P.E. and Music) • 3 Gifted teachers • 3 Business/Career Tech teachers • 1 At-Risk • 1 Librarian • 2 Guidance Counselors • 2 Assistant Principals • 7 Special Education teachers

No class change 1st Period 7:55 - 8:47 52 minutes BREAK 8:47 - 9:02 15 minutes 2nd Period 9:05 - 9:57 52 minutes 3rd Period 10:00 - 10:52 52 minutes LUNCH 10:52 - 11:17 25 minutes 4th Period 11:20 - 12:12 52 minutes 5th Period 12:15 - 1:07 52 minutes 6th Period 1:10 - 2:02 52 minutes 7th Period 2:05 - 2:57 52 minutes Issues - 6th, 7th and 8th all have separate breaks and lunches 6th, 7th and 8th grade will use a “team” approach “Double Dip” time for remediation - extra help will be during enrichments
