THE SECRET TO THE CHRISTIAN LIFE -- Galatians 2:20 pg. 1 The Secret: Jesus died _for_ you so that He might live __in_ you. • The Christian life is a totally __exchanged_ life. • You have given Jesus your sin; Jesus has given you His __righteousness__. • You have given Jesus your slavery to sin; Jesus has given you His__freedom__ over sin. • You have given Jesus your defeat against sin; Jesus has given you His _victory__ over sin. • You have given Jesus your judgement for sin; Jesus has given you His __salvation__ from sin. • You have given Jesus your death; Jesus have given you His _life_. • The Christian life is a supernaturally _empowered__ life. • Jesus is in you, and you are in Jesus. • The Christian life is not about what you do _for_ Jesus, but what Jesus does _in_ you. • We are not living in debt to Jesus; we are living __indwelt__ by Jesus!

Jesus is with you, and you are with Jesus. • Jesus died for a meaningful relationship _with_ you, not monotonous religious motion _from_ you. • Jesus is worth you to accomplish His _will_ in you…and in the world! • The Christian life is a wonderfully _restful_ life. • The life of faith believes Jesus is to be _everything_ you need for every moment you live. • We don’t strive after faith; we look to, lean on, trust in, and rest in the __Faithful__ One! • The Christian life is a completely __secure__ life. • Jesus in you now is Jesus in you __forever__. • When Jesus is in you, _nothing__ can stand against you.

  11. What did you hear that was new? • Okay to be passionate about Christ! • Passion NOT common in all churches! • To be a Christian we need to believe and love Jesus

  12. What encouraged you, and why? • God leading us in His ways for our activities and being able to share His word with others. • The LORD wants a relationship with “me”! Marvelous!!! • Listen for His whisper. It’s there……. • I know, no matter what, one day I have a promise that I WILL meet my LORD face-to-face. • Encouraged by seeing college students listening to Christian singers and receiving God‘s (even if they’re not yet aware of it.)

What are you going to do with what you heard? • At the end of business meeting, would hand out cards with info about MBC and video link. • Need to print some more. • Take risks for the LORD! • Will start giving out Bus. Cards w/ info on Lon’s old sermons (hyperlink) • Does luncheons for large business groups. Will pray over the meal AND close w/ “In Jesus name, Amen!”
