Manifold Pressure Gauge • In any plane that has a means of changing propeller blade angle this instrument becomes extremely important. • Generally speaking MP should never be above RPM. • Blue over Black
CHT EGT • Thermocouple based system which will measure heat at there respective location • EGT is a much more instantaneous reading • CHT takes more time because it is measuring the temperature of the engine block
EGT TIT • We lose the CHT portion on some Turbo’d engines. • EGT becomes more crucial because it will be entering the Turbo to pressurize the inlet air.
