  3. Oil Temp and Pressure These two instruments could be the most important instruments in the cockpit. Scenarios Low Temp High Pressure High Temp High Pressure High Temp Low Pressure

  4. Manifold Pressure Gauge • In any plane that has a means of changing propeller blade angle this instrument becomes extremely important. • Generally speaking MP should never be above RPM. • Blue over Black

  5. CHT EGT • Thermocouple based system which will measure heat at there respective location • EGT is a much more instantaneous reading • CHT takes more time because it is measuring the temperature of the engine block

  6. EGT TIT • We lose the CHT portion on some Turbo’d engines. • EGT becomes more crucial because it will be entering the Turbo to pressurize the inlet air.

  8. More Technology More Precision • Smaller electronic base equipment with a plethora of information if you should choose to find it.
