First Nations SolarBC provided seed funding to First Power towards their installation of SHW on 37 homes in the T’Sou-ke First Nation. RFP for off-grid First Nations
Solar Schools SolarBC provided funds for 4 schools to install PV panels. SolarBC funds schools up to $20,000 for SHW installations.

How does it work? • Collectors absorb light from the sun • Fluids circulate the collected heat to a storage tank • Heat is transferred to the water in the storage tank • Preheated water is sent to the domestic water tank ready for use

What incentives are available? • Residential • Up to $3,250 for existing homes • A zero percent loan • $2,000 for new homes
