  4. Naviance My Colleges: By clicking on the link Colleges I’m thinking about you will be able to add colleges into your list.

  5. Colleges I’m Thinking About My Colleges: After generating a list of colleges you are thinking about, select colleges that you will be applying to and click the “Move to Application List”.

Letters of Recommendation (2-3) • What we expect YOU to do • Ask EARLY! • After student asks the teacher they then must make a formal request to the teacher on Naviance. • What you can expect from counselor • Provide a Letter of Recommendation form for you to give the teacher (available in the guidance department). • Write a letter of recommendation for each senior, if required. • Write a letter for any student on current caseload, if student submits recommendation form by June 21 deadline

Junior Do’s RECOMMENDATIONS- See CURRENT counselor and submit recommendation form prior to June 21st -Approach 2 teachers Check Naviance Weekly Summer for college visits, resume, job experiences! Resume Community Service Finalize target, reach and safety school list (*summer – fall) Practice Common Application and create username and log in Sign up on Naviance to meet with college representative in the Career Center SAT & ACT: sign up for JUNE SAT (by May 2nd) Please see your Counselor as needed.
