  2. WELCOME! How Many of You… • Are brand new to OneNote and Class Notebook? • Are familiar with OneNote but new to Class Notebook? • Have moderate experience with both? • Have extensive experience with one or both?

  4. A Multi-Tabbed Notebook On Your Computer…and your phone…and your tablet… Microsoft did a great job taking the multi-subject notebook concept and transferring it to a digital medium. The tabbed layout of the app feels very natural, so its visual interface makes it more appealing to some users, especially visual learner types. It sounds weird, but it has an almost tangible quality to it.

  5. What is Class Notebook? Imagine that you keep a 3-ring binder that keeps track of your class information, assignments, and resources.

  6. What is Class Notebook? Imagine that your students all keep a binder of their own. In it, they have class notes, completed homework, pens, highlighters, graph paper, flash drive, a pocket dictionary, a voice recorder, a thesaurus, etc.

  7. NOW What is Class Notebook? Imagine that your students all keep a binder of their own. In it, they have class notes, completed homework, pens, highlighters, graph paper, flash drive, a pocket dictionary, a voice recorder, a thesaurus, etc.

  8. NOW What is Class Notebook? Imagine that all of those student notebooks are added to the back of your binder, then all of that is transformed into a digital medium, and now you understand the concept of Class Notebook.

  9. OneNote Class NotebookBOOT CAMP If you’d like to get a jump start on the session before arriving at FETC, you can also download a practice Class Notebook, named “FETC 2017 Boot Camp”. It is saved as a .onepkg file. Simply download and open with OneNote 2013 or 2016 desktop version. In it are many of the activities/skills we will be exploring during our session.
