Technical analysis is method used by technical analyst or trader to predict future prices of security. • Technical analysis focuses on past price movements to determine possible future short term or long term moves to come. • Technical analysis uses past prices of scrip, their volume and try to identify some pattern based on that values.

  3. Trader will use those patterns and try to predict future prices for particular scrip. • Technical analysis has a short-term view. Technical analysis focuses on predicting the immediate price movements. • There are many different theory for technical analysis like Elliott theory, Dow theory.
