  2. AIR POLLUTION According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 2 million premature deaths are caused each year due to air pollution in cities across the world.

  3. Light Pollution • LIGHT POLLUTION IS THE SKY GLOW PRODUCED BY THE SCATTERING OF ARTIFICIAL LIGHT IN THE GASES AND PARTICLES OF THE AIR Facts: • The problem of light pollution pertains to more than light trespass or humans not being able to see the stars.

  4. Noise Pollution • Noise pollution is a type of energy pollution in which distracting, irritating, or damaging sounds are freely audible. Facts: • Eventually, continues or repeated exposures high intensity sound can cause acoustic trauma to the ear!!

  5. Water Pollution • Water Pollution is addition of harmful chemicals to natural waters.. Facts: • About 20% of the world's population lacks access to safe drinking water and about 50% lacks adequate sanitation.
