Overview Beberapa pertanyaan: • Apasaja komponen-komponen dari manajemen proyek? • Bagaimana perencanaan membantu di dalam pengelolaan sumber daya proyek? • Apakah peranan perencanaan (planning)didalam memfasilitasi pengembangan software? IF 1483 - RPL
Bahasan • 4 P’s • Manajemen Proyek (Management Project) • Perencanaan Proyek (Project Planning) IF 1483 - RPL
Empat P • People — elemen terpenting dari kesuksesan suatu proyek • Product — sistem yang akan dibangun • Process — Sekumpulan framework activitiesdan engineering tasks agar proyek berjalan • Project — Seluruh kerja/usaha yang dibutuhkan untuk mewujudkan suatu produk IF 1483 - RPL
Empat P • Product Factors • Novelty and Complexity of the Problem • Quality (Features, performance, reliability, adaptability) • Project Factors • Organization, Management, Tools • Process Factors • Tasks, Work Products, Model • People Factors • People interacting successfully to build the software. IF 1483 - RPL
Human Resource Management Workforce Available Work Force Needed Progress Status Tasks Completed Schedule Controlling Planning Effort Remaining Software Production IF 1483 - RPL
Proyek Software Faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil akhir ... • ukuran (size) • batas akhir penyerahan produk (delivery deadline) • anggaran dan beaya (budgets and costs) • domain aplikasi • teknologi yang diterapkan • batasan sistem (system constraints) • kebutuhan pengguna (user requirements) • sumberdaya yang tersedia IF 1483 - RPL
Seputar Manajemen Proyek IF 1483 - RPL
Mengelola • Waktu (Time) • Informasi (Information) • Organisasi (Organization) • Kualitas (Quality) • Uang (Money) IF 1483 - RPL
People • "The central question in how to improve the software art centers, as it always has, on people." (Brooks, 1987) • "Personnel attributes and human resource activities provide by far the largest source of opportunity for improving software development productivity." (Boehm, 1981) IF 1483 - RPL
Product • The project manager is responsible for preparing a quantitative estimate of the project. From this estimate a plan can be constructed. • This is ideal since we frequently begin project with little solid information. IF 1483 - RPL
Defining the Problem • establish scope—a narrative that bounds the problem • decomposition—establishes functional partitioning IF 1483 - RPL
Ruang Lingkup (Scope) • Context • How does the software fit into the larger context? • Information • What are the data-objects used as inputs and outputs of the system? • Function and Performance • What functions does the software perform? Are there special performance objectives? IF 1483 - RPL
The Essence of a Project • Why is the system being developed? • What will be done? By when? • Who is responsible for a function? • Where are they organizationally located? • How will the job be done technically and managerially? • How much of each resource (e.g., people, software, tools, database) will be needed? Barry Boehm IF 1483 - RPL
Planning (1) • The objective of software project planning is to provide a framework that enables the project manager to estimate the resources, cost, and schedule. Project planning is an iterative process with periodic stepwise refinements. IF 1483 - RPL
Planning (2) • Planning is used to find credible ways to produce results with limited resources and limited schedule flexibility. • Planning is negotiating compromises in completion dates and resource allocation. • Planning is identifying and accommodating the unforeseen. • Planning is blending the efforts of many people to produce a product that satisfies the customer's need. IF 1483 - RPL
Long-Term Plan • The long-term project plan describes the resources to be used for the entire length of the project. It should detail what is to be done and by whom. IF 1483 - RPL
Short-Term Plan • A tentative short-term plan helps the project team coordinate the activities of the project, so they can work at an effective rate. • The schedule will reflect: • each team members abilities to perform the activities • the resources utilized in the project • the groups overall ability to perform IF 1483 - RPL
Risk • The short-term plan certainly encompasses plenty of risks. The best way to handle risks are to: • identify the risk. • find a resolution for this risk within the time frame of the project. • figure out the chance this risk will occur. IF 1483 - RPL
