How to become healthy: Diet • Eat a balanced, nutritious diet -Eat more: vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean protein, lean dairy, monounsaturated fats, fiber, minerals and electrolytes -Eat less: Saturated or trans fat, refined sugar, white flour and food additives
How to become healthy: Activity • Exercise for at least 30 minutes/ day for most days of the week • What are some ways to get exercise?
How to become healthy: Sleep • Get at least 7 hours of sleep a night • Sleeping schedule

5 principles used: • Used as little text as possible- instead of writing all the recommendations that I originally wanted, I kept each slide brief on the words and asked questions to have the audience interact with me. The text I did include was sized around 28, which is recommended. • Used high quality pictures- I used one picture for each slide and the photos chosen were direct and not overwhelming. I used a picture for every slide for visual leaners and to keep the slides consise. • Kept conventional and tidy layout- I used the same format and style for each slide and used bullet points to focus on. • Didn’t use unnecessary animations- No animations or moving things on the slides to keep the audience on subject and not distracted. • Put titles on each slide- Every slide had a title with similar font and size on each to not distract the audience.
