Born Born BornBornBorn • William Faulkner was born on September 25, 1897 in New Albany , Mississippi • His Parents were Murry Cuthbert Faulkner and Maud Butler His siblings were: • Jack Faulkner • Dean Swift Faulkner • Murry Charles “Jack” Faulkner • Then they moved and he was raised in Oxford, Mississippi • William was the oldest of 4 boys

Education • Faulkner attended University of Mississippi, then dropped out, which wasn’t the first time that happened • Then, a few years later he met Estelle Oldham • They had 2 children Alabama Faulkner who died 9 days after her birth, then a few years later she gave birth to Jill Faulkner who was a healthy little baby • Soon after William (50 years old) met Joan William and got into a relationship. When Estelle discovers this she is furious. (Joan is only a few years older than Jill, her daughter)
