This just in… Al Capone, that big cheese, was seen in his struggle buggy with another fat cat on their way to a speakie. They had just come from the jinny and were quite blotto. Witnesses say they had too much bootlegged giggle-water. In other news… Those of you looking to have the cat’s pajamas of a weekend have much to look forward to. Barnstormers are performing in Culver City, there’s a new audie playing at the cinema, and there will be a parade on the main drag, sure to be full of sheiks and ritzy women. It should all be darb! And finally… If you can get away from your governor, breeze in to the Dance marathon. Hundreds will be hoofing to the best jazz in town. It should be the bee’s knees!
