Models workgroup will use State Office of Financial and Insurance Services (OFIS) data on the Michigan insurance marketplace CPS is not statistically significant for any one year on insurance questions due to small sample size.
Urban sample is between 2500 and 3000 for 1997, 1999, and 2002. CPS is not statistically significant for any one year on insurance questions due to small sample size.

Premiums for individual policies are age and community rated.
Individual policies for family coverage may cost from $248 to $993 per month.*
Individual policies when a family converts from group coverage to individual coverage may cost from $206 to $854 per month.*
