  2. Looking for a 45 Handgun to Add to Your Collection? Try the Online Marketplace at GunBroker.com! A wide range of pistols chambered in 45 ACP are up for sale on GunBroker.com at any given time, and one of them might be the right one for you. From the classic 1911 to the Glock G21, here is a selection of 45s you might find available for sale or auction. Taurus 1911 The most famous handgun available in 45 is the venerable M1911, first created by John Browning. The Taurus 1911 is an update on the classic model. The 5-inch barrel, as well as frame and slide, are made of hammer-forged steel, with every individual piece hand-fitted by Taurus gun smiths. The Taurus 1911 45 ACP Stainless offers an extended beavertail, skeletonized trigger and hammer, and short Picatinny rail for a light or laser. Rock Island M1911 GI The Rock Island M1911 GI aims to capture the look and feel of the traditional 1911s issued to American GIs. It offers a slim design and low-profile sights, making it easier and quicker to pull from a holster. The Standard model comes with a 4.25-inch barrel and a trigger pull between 4 and 6 pounds, traditional wooden grips, and is available in a durable parkerized finish, or a shiny chrome finish.

  3. Staccato R Another modern take comes from Staccato with the Staccato R 2020. If you are looking for STI guns, it’s important to know the company changed the name to Staccato in May 2020. Referred to as a “2011,” it features a 5-inch barrel, single-stack mag, and has the heart and soul of a 1911 but with 2011 performance. A 4-pound trigger, fiber-optic front sight, and Staccato adjustable back sight complete the R 2020 model. SIG P220 Legion The legendary SIG P220 has received upgrades with the Legion model. Available in both SAO like the 1911 and DA/SA models, the P220 Legion offers a 4.4-inch barrel with a total length of 7.7 inches. Day/night sights and a P-SAIT or Master Shop Flat Trigger, depending on DA/SA or SAO, round out the handgun. IWI Jericho 941 Based on the well-loved CZ 75 frame, the IWI Jericho 941 has also gone by the names of the Uzi Eagle and Baby Eagle, as it looks like a smaller version of the Magnum Research Desert Eagle. Currently in use by the Israeli Security Forces, the 941 is available in 45 ACP and can be found with Israeli surplus markings and modifications when imported. Early versions have a slide- mounted safety, while newer models moved the safety to the frame. It is available in both steel and polymer frames.
