  4. Let’s get started • SharePoint mobile pages are…. • The App market has exploded • Reviews and Killer Features

  5. SharePoint “M” Out of Box…

  6. Disadvantages • Can’t use edit menus, or most other features. • Browse only • Not user friendly • You must be connected

  7. The “real site” on iPad

  8. Disadvantages • Can use some edit menus but performance is unreliable. • Get stuck at the “open/edit” • Again, you must be connected

  9. Enter the apps… • Over 50 results in the Apps store if you conduct a “SharePoint” search • Variety of offerings, pricing, capabilities • Which are the best?

  10. 5 Apps • Colligo Briefcase • Harmon.ie • Filamente Used QuickOffice Pro HD as editing toolEvaluated the paid version of each, except for Harmon.ie • SharePlus • MoPrise

  12. Evaluated on 1 key scenario: • Can I • Log in to a SharePoint site • Browse to a file I want • Check it out • Edit it (*using QuickOffice Pro, sold separately) • Check it back in - Without reading any documentation

  13. Colligo • Biggest strength is synching offline content • Usability is not as good as it could be • No check-in check-out feature

  19. Colligo – Final Review • Best for “read-only” offline synching • Checking the file in and out was not integrated well into the experience and caused some usability issues • Because of the synch settings, I was editing an older version of the doc.

  20. Filamente – Quick Review • Similar to Colligo • Could check the file out but could not determine how to check back in. Caused some usability issues • Does have integration with Dropbox

  21. SharePlus (Infragistics) • Integration points with SP editing features are solid • Synch settings a bit more intuitive • Good support for questions!

  27. SharePlus – Final Review • Only product where I could seamlessly conduct my use case scenario • WINNER! • Required no reading or instructions • Assistance was good when I had product questions

  28. Harmon.ie Review • Great UI except for “properties” • Does have check-in check-out built into the productbut I experienced an error • Does NOT have offline synch • Does have social feeds

  31. In Summary… • Best All-around: SharePlus • Best UI and Social capabilities: Harmon.ie, but no offline synch • Colligoand Filamente’suser experiences caused some problems
