Cool Cats • The stars are shinin’ high above the zoo tonight. • The animals are sleepin’ ‘neath the pale moonlight. • But then you hear a roar, and the night wind begins to howl. • You better watch out, ‘cause the cool cats are on the prowl.
The lion is the leader of the cool cat pack. • The tiger comes along to find a midnight snack. • The leopard and the lynx join in for the nightly growl. • You better watch out ‘cause the cool cats are on the prowl.
The zoo’s main attractions are causin’ a distraction. • They’re havin’ fun and struttin’ ‘round the place. • They may be only playin’ but every zebra’s stayin’ secure inside their cages just in case. • So when the cats have danced and played the night away, they go back to their cages where they sleep all day. • The sun is comin’ up and the cool cats are chillin’ now. • But you better watch out ‘cause the cool cats are on the prowl. • You better watch out ‘cause the cool cats are on the prowl.
