IMPROVING COURSE RIGOR MEASURING STUDENT PROGRESS TOWARD READINESS EXPLORE 8th and 9th grade curriculum-based educational and career planning program The ACT 11th and 12th grade curriculum-based assessment for learning outcomes ENGAGE Middle and high school assessment that measures all factors of academic success PLAN 10th grade curriculum-based educational and career planning program QualityCore Research-driven solutions for strengthening curriculum SUPPORTING SOLUTIONSPLANNING SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT Core Practice Audit Framework for evaluating current practices CoreWork Diagnostics Online service to diagnose and improve content and practice areas ACT’s College and Career Readiness System Provides a longitudinal approach to educational and career planning through student assessment, curriculum support, and school improvement. Our research-based solutions help schools, districts, and states improve academic measurement, student readiness, and instructional designs.

Test Security Enhancements • Students will be required to: • Provide their gender and upload a photo of themselves • Provide their high school code • Score reports will be sent automatically to students’ high schools • All acceptable IDs require a photo • No stand-by walk-ins on day of test www.act.org/idenhancements

  6. Changes to College and Career Readiness Workshops Two separate workshops will be offered on the same day in the fall: What ACT Data Are Telling You About Your Students (8:30 - 11:00 AM) Creating Your EXPLORE and PLAN Road Map to Student Success (Noon – 2:30 PM)

  7. CCRW Changes (Cont.) • Separate registration is required for each workshop • Teams from schools are encouraged to attend • Box lunch provided for those staying for both workshops • Please visit www.act.org/learningevents for registration, dates and details

  9. College Readiness Benchmark Scores *The ACT Benchmark Score indicates a 50% chance of obtaining a “B” or a 75% chance of obtaining a “C” in corresponding credit-bearing college courses.
