The EUROMET workshop provides a forum for discussions on the methods to estimate and calculate the uncertainty in humidity calibrations of different types. The objectives of the workshop are: harmonization of the methods in applying the GUM (Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement) principles in humidity calibrations share knowledge and experience in estimating uncertainty. EUROMET Workshop on Uncertainty in Humidity Measurements
The discussions will deal with uncertainty of the reference value and the influence of the instrument under calibration when using different kinds of calibration systems. Introductions given by hygrometry experts form the basis for discussions. Attendants are encouraged to share their experience and to present data showing quality of hygrometers of different types at the meeting. The data will be used to find agreement on the performance of the “best available” instrument, which is needed in harmonizing the CMC data. A summary of introductions and examples presented at the workshop will be published after the event. Also, recommendations agreed by the participants will be included in the publication.
