You can have as many cards as you want in your deck but it is best to stay around the sixties. Theme decks do have 40 cards. • It is best when you are new to start with a theme deck deck then as you get better customize your deck. You will need to add 7 more land and 13 other cards of the right color. You can play with one or more colors. Two colors make a nice mix. The colors are Black, White, Red, Blue, and Green.
