  2. About weg William Ellis green better known as weg. Designed and painted the footy poster’s that you get in the herald sun. William died at the age of 85 years old in his home with his wife of 63 years by his side.

  3. What he did Weg was famous for painting the grand final poster and the poster of the greats of the game. He raised 2 million dollars for the royal children hospital by selling his grand final poster. His first painting was when Footscray won their first and only premiership. He last painting was of last years premierships hawks. Weg raised $5000 for his 1985 painting of Collingwood's premiership.

  4. Why I did him I did weg because I have a copy of his painting of Nathan Buckley when he retired and I like the way he painted
