More than 90% of high-level and average-levelstatisticians are trained in INSEE schools • More than a third of INSEE personnel is responsible for high-level statistics and economic work, and some of this personnel has management tasks (category A) • Another third is in charge of technical aspects of the statistics and works on production surveys, indexes, etc. (category B) • More than 10% of the personnel, i.e. 25% of senior officers, works in ministries’ statistics departments (SSM) EMOS - Southampton 24-25 June 2010
