5. Suleyman Demirel University Isparta became a university based-city entirely with the establishment of SDU. Established on July, 1992 as a State University. Although it is a relatively new university, SDU succeeded to be within the top 20 universities of Turkey. About 43000 students. Establishment of our Faculty of Engineering and Architecture goes back to 1976 under the name of Isparta State Engineering and Architecture Academy.
