  3. When He was 15 he read a book on Robert Houdin. That soon became his idol on magic. Soon after he read that book he soon became Harry Houdini. 1888

  4. 1898 Met Beatrice Rahner and got married June 22,1894

  5. He would give anyone one hundred dollars to anyone who could give him a pair of handcuffs he could not escape. Never paid 1899

  6. He once said “Only one man that ever betrayed my confidence, and that is only a mirror matter.”

  7. 1899 His accomplishments got the attention it needed

  8. Could escape prison cells Locked up by police but no trouble 1899

  9. Giant footballs, roll top desks, burglar proof safes and sunken crates. He would always escape

  10. Completed the upside-down water torture cell in 1913

  11. Did his elephant disappearing act in 1918

  12. Died on October 31,1926 from burst appendix. 52 years old
