Marianna Breytman aidsetc.org Marianna Breytman is the Educational Technologist at the Northeast/Caribbean (NECA) AETC, where she aims to find engaging & captivating ways to incorporate technology into the center’s learning objectives. She is currently spearheading NECA AETC’s transition to Zoom as its main virtual learning platform and introducing more user-friendly features to the center’s website. Marianna is currently pursuing her masters degree in Instructional Technology and Media at Columbia University’s Teachers College.

  6. Audio Right here! • Please turn on your audio from your computer • To do so, simply press the green ”Join Audio Conference by Computer” button that appears after you click the meeting link

  7. Audio Right here! • Do NOT use the Phone Call option (unless you absolutely have to) TIP: If you check off the little box at the bottom of the prompt, you never have to worry about selecting this again!

  8. Video Right here! • Please turn ON your video for a more inclusive meeting • To do so, simply press the ”Start Video” button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen, next to the Mute button

  10. Mute • We ask that you please mute your microphone for the duration of this meeting • To do so, simply press the ”Mute” button in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen

  11. Views • You will see view options in the upper right-hand corner • Gallery View: Will make all videos the same size • Speaker View: Will highlight the person speaking

  12. Participants Click the “Participants” button at the bottom of your screen to see a list of meeting attendees

  13. Raise your hand Once you’ve clicked on Participants, you will see a “Raise Hand” buttonto alert the hosts that you have a question without interrupting the meeting

  14. Chat Click the “Chat” button at the bottom of your screen to open the meeting chat

  15. Chat This will allow you to send in public questions and/or chat privately by selecting specific participants from the drop-down menu
