Introduction “As a child my family's menu consisted of two choices: take it or leave it.” This quote is important to me because when you cook you should not just cook something as of one thing you need to have a appetizer and then your main course and desert something after to top off the meal. In order to get a better understanding as a cook I will be researching; Nature of work, Working conditions, Training, Qualifications, Advancement, Outlook employment, and Earnings. I will be looking over these topics over the next 3 days.

Working Conditions • Inside or outside depends on where you work • 12 hour to 24 hour shift • Physical work • Everyone knows what they are doing • Could be hot • holidays
Training, Qualification, Advancement • Training in a mentorship program, working with experienced chefs and cooks • Business skills • Creativity, • Leadership skills, • Tense of taste and smell, • Time management.
Job Outlook/Employment • They show that from now till 2020 the rates and demands for chefs will go up • Cooks with no experience will be gone • Jobs will be in high demand for casinos, hotels, and restaurants. • I would like to go stay in Michigan and get a job at a casino.
Earnings • Build my own two story house – 219,900 • Create a cook book+ 50 • Start a family + 2,000 • Go to Mexico + 1,500

Summary Over the last couple of days while I was researching everything about begin a cook I learned a better understanding as a cook while researched ; Nature of work, Working conditions, Training, Qualifications, Advancement, Outlook employment, and Earnings. The most important thing I look forward to for begin a cook is the whole cooking part and making/ trying new things. The least I am liking is working holidays.
