Objectives of the Marketing Grant ProgrammeHelp our customers to grow their business by developing an integrated marketing campaign, through joint investment by:- expanding/growing the products/services that they have purchased from BT Wholesale- ensuring this aligns with their business and marketing objectives SALES AND MARKETING COMMUNITY COLLABORATING FOR SUCCESS
Criteria - Grants to be available twice a year (April and October)this will allow more flexibility and provide longer lead times to prepare for submissions- Deadline dates for submissions - 2nd March 09 and 1st September 09- Customers who have been resellers for BT Wholesale for less than one year and can demonstrate that they are delivering well against their contractual commitment can apply up to a max grant of £10,000 (excluding VAT)- Established customers (over a year and on a growth trajectory) can apply for a max of £25k SALES AND MARKETING COMMUNITY COLLABORATING FOR SUCCESS
Marketing Grant Scheme 2009/10 Subject to BT Wholesale sign off and so long as the activity can be measured, the Marketing Grant can fund a host of activities including the following: • Campaigns which are integrated • Production of collateral promoting only BT Wholesale products/services • Web pages which promote the campaign • Creation/production of Adverts • E-shot/ Ecasts campaigns • Direct Mail campaign • Telemarketing (by external agency) • PR (part of a campaign) *The above list is a guide only; activities not included will be considered on a case by case basis
Marketing Grant Scheme 2009/10 Marketing Grant cannot fund certain activities including: • Any marketing activities not included in the approved marketing plan • In house activities, which would mean BT Wholesale paying the customer directly • Purchasing any databases • Research • Certain activities for hospitality events such as the set up fee for stands; venue costs • Any T&S spend • In house resource/ training • Promotional activities that the customer wants to offer their end user such as reduction in prices; activation costs • Any activity/collateral thatdenigrates another Communication Provider • Booking space for adverts
What will be different this time …..Applications* Customers must complete the application form by the deadline dates and send it to: samina.khan@bt.com* Main focus will be on the customer demonstrating clear and realistic ROMI * How the integrated marketing campaign aligns with their business and marketing objectives* Which BT Wholesale products and services are to be promoted and why* To ensure that each activity being promoted is measurable and can be trackedLogistics and roll-out* Bespoke campaigns must commence within 3 months of contract signature* Customers must highlight bespoke campaign on their website *Customers can use an agency of their own choice, but must note that BT has 60 day payment policy* Each submission will be judged on its own merit. There is no right of appeal, BT’s decision is final* Once successful, regular conference calls will be held with the customer to track progress SALES AND MARKETING COMMUNITY COLLABORATING FOR SUCCESS
