Other Days in 2008 Organizations Plan to Observe as Holidays by Closing Their Offices • Friday before Labor Day office closed • Lincoln's Birthday - closed • On the Friday before any holiday that creates a three-day weekend, the office closes at noon. • Accountants Holiday (CPA firm) April 16 • Monday, July 7 • One "Spring Break" day instead of Good Friday • Company Anniversary (April 5) • Rosh Hashana (1st day) & Yom Kippur closed • Rosh Hashanah (2 days), Yom Kippur (1 day), Passover (2 days) • Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur • Pioneer Day July 24th • Fiesta Friday (San Antonio TX) in April • The Friday of the Academic Spring Holiday - 3rd Friday in March • Election Day office closed • April 21 is Patriots Day (the office is closed not because it is Good Friday).
