  2. Donations • Recycling is Important! • Did you know that electronic products' short useful lives produce waste? These items may contain hazardous materials, and many components can be salvaged. • Do you have broken or unused electronic equipment you would like to dispose of? • If so, why not donate it to be refurbished and given to someone who could use it and can’t afford to purchase it on their own? • Let’s get into the holiday spirit!

  3. Program Goals • Collect unused or broken electronics • Refurbish donated electronics to be distributed to those less fortunate • Provide hands-on practice for students of the Electronic and Computer clubs • Reduce disposal of hazardous waste

  4. Description • Sponsored by The Computer and Electronics Clubs of Kent State University’s East Liverpool and Salem Campuses • Student members of these clubs will collect electronic items and refurbish them to be distributed to those less fortunate

  5. Items Accepted for Donations • Old Computers • Printers • Telephones • Toasters • Televisions • Videocassette Recorders • Video Games

  6. Items Not Accepted for Donations • Air Conditioners • Humidifiers • Hazardous Wastes N
