CONCLUSION PARAGRAPH • Dissect your thesis • Each prong becomes it owns sentence • Include the specific idea from the body paragraph • EXAMPLE • There are many reasons why winter is a great season. When it snows, the scene is magnificent and peaceful. Also, New Jerseyschools have a long break from school for the holidays. Finally, there are many resorts in the Northeast open for skiing. Of all the seasons, winter is certainly the best. • It is a SUMMARY paragraph—therefore no new info!! • Make sure that final sentence packs a punch! Make a statement!

Works Cited • Begin your Works Cited page on a separate page at the end of your paper. • Continue using 1” margins, the header, and the double spacing • Label the page Works Cited • Do not underline or use quotation marks • Center the words Works Cited on the first line of the page • Abbreviate all months to 3 LETTERS: Jan. Feb. Mar. Apr. Aug. Oct. Nov. Dec. • Exceptions… • May, June, July • September becomes Sept.
