  3. Litter Reduction & Recycling Grant Program • Three Categories: • Public Education • Litter Cleanup • Recycling • Funding: Business fee, $1,300,000 • Eligibility: Public, private, non-profit • Grant Deadline: September 15th

  4. Waste Reduction & Recycling Grants Incentive Program • Business Fee • Disposal Fee • Tire Fee

Waste Reduction & Recycling Grants Incentive Program • Business Fee - $800,000 • Eligibility: Public, private, non-profit • Deadline: February 1st • Types of Projects: • Waste reduction at the source • Toxicity reduction including HHW • Recycling including composting • Other waste reduction & recycling projects

  6. Waste Reduction & Recycling Grants Incentive Program • Disposal Fee - $1,200,000 disposal fees+ $800,000 tire fees • Eligibility: Political subdivisions only • Deadline: February 1st • Types of Projects: • Waste reduction at the source • Toxicity reduction including HHW • Recycling including composting • Other integrated solid waste management projects • Multi-year awards

  7. Waste Reduction & Recycling Grants Incentive Program • Tire Fee – first $1,000,000 • Eligibility: Public, private, non-profit • Deadline: February 1st • Award categories • Reimbursements • Cost share • Other – Capital costs & misc • Collection site cleanup – political subdivisions only

  8. Illegal Dumpsite Cleanup Program • Disposal Fee – 5% ($125,000) • Eligibility: Political subdivisions only • Sites must be on public right-of-way • Continuous application period

  9. Landfill Disposal Fee Rebate Program • Disposal Fee – 10 cents of the $1.25 disposal fee • Eligibility: Cities & Counties • Continuous application period • Requires a Buy-Recycled Policy
