What can it do? • Aloe Vera’s inside gel can help soothe and heal wounds such as cuts and sunburn etc. • Aloe Vera’s gel can also be eaten! • It can live up to 25 years or more! • An Aloe if eaten or drunken can cure bad breath!
How does it eat, breathe and reproduce? • Reproducing - After the Aloe has been growing for a while it starts to sprout a baby little aloe on its side known as a ‘pup’. • Eating and Breathing – They produce their own food through photosynthesis which involves the plant absorbing light, CO2 and water and producing sugar and oxygen. The air (CO2) enters in through openings in leaves called stomata.
