IS-41 signaling line

Merit of elimination of the circuits controlled by IS-41. At present, IS-41 is controlling circuits inter MSC at the time of intersystem handoff. Therefore, the circuits which are controlled by ISUP and the circuits which are controlled by IS-41 are needed separately.

  1. Merit of elimination of the circuits controlled by IS-41 At present, IS-41 is controlling circuits inter MSC at the time of intersystem handoff. Therefore, the circuits which are controlled by ISUP and the circuits which are controlled by IS-41 are needed separately. If ISUP can control the circuits inter MSC at the time of intersystem handoff, it becomes only the circuits which are controlled by ISUP among MSC. As a result, the number of the circuits among MSC can be decreased. Circuit cost also will decrease.   3. Conclusion At present, IS-41 is controlling circuits inter MSC at the time of intersystem handoff. Therefore, the circuits which are controlled by ISUP and the circuits which are controlled by IS-41 are needed separately. If ISUP can control the circuits inter MSC at the time of intersystem handoff, it becomes only the circuits which are controlled by ISUP among MSC. As a result, the number of the circuits among MSC can be decreased. Circuit cost also will decrease. I propose to start the process of standardization of elimination of the circuits controlled by IS-41. 3
