The session will also equip you with a foundational understanding of IFRS that can be used to engage in meaningful dialogue with your peers and colleagues. (1.50 CPE) Saturday, October 2, 2010 Course Level: Basic 10:15 am – 11:45 am Instructional Method: Group/Live Prerequisites: None Field of Study: Personal Development This session will discuss the personal characteristics inherent to being an entrepreneur and attributes important to achieving success and financial needs of a future entrepreneur. The session will help students understand the keys to success in developing an organization: setting up an organization, banking and various types of entities. Students will have the "Keys to Success": planning, networking, customer service, and commitment of an entrepreneur. Finally, students will work through case study examples and be able to successfully apply the models discussed after completing this course. Taylor, Jr., CPA is the founder and owner of two firms, Taylor CPA & Associates, PC of Columbus, Georgia and W3 CPAs and Consultants, Inc. of Atlanta, Georgia, and is licensed in Georgia & Louisiana. His firms currently employ 12 individuals. William is also co-founder of Blue Holdings, LLC, an asset holding company. The company currently holds commercial rental real estate, residential rental real estate, securities, precious stones and other assets. Williams holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Accounting and from Tulane University. • In March 2006, he established the “Run your own business for a year Apprenticeship”. The program allows high school sophomores and juniors to compete for an opportunity to win a $5,000 stipend to run their own business for one year.

NETWORKING & TIME MANAGEMENT SPEAKER’S BIO • Steve is the Region Lead Faculty for Becker Professional Education in the Atlanta area helping candidates pass the CPA and CFA examinations. He earned his CPA license while working in both the audit and tax departments at KPMG's Atlanta office. Prior to opening his own CPA firm he was employed by several large organizations as a Corporate Controller and Chief Financial Officer. • Steve is currently a Lecturer of Accounting at Kennesaw State University teaching both Accounting and Tax classes. Additionally, he is an adjunct member of the graduate school faculties of the University of Louisville and Florida International University teaching Managerial Accounting in their international MBA programs
