  2. Personal life • Selena Marie Gomez born July 22, 1992 is an American actress and singer. • Selena was born in Grand Prairie, Texas. • Her parents divorced when she was five years old, and she was raised as an only child by her mother.

  3. Selena is in a relationship with  Justin Bieber, the Canadian singer.

  4. Acting Career • In early 2007 Gomez was cast in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place as Alex Russo. • She was also a guest star on Zack & Cody and had a guest role on Hannah Montana.

  5.  Selena also starred in the movies: Princess Protection Program, in Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, and Another Cinderella Story.

  7. Selena has a teen pop band: Selena Gomez & the Scene. • The band recorded three albums.
