Every couple is different, many like taking several photos and use a variety of locations within the venue and its property. Others want to be quick about it, get it done, and get to the party. But I recommend that we utilize the location as much as wedding photographer springfield Missouri possible, and I like to have anywhere from 30min- 45 mind just for couples portraits. I love taking natural photos, candid moments, lots of laughter between the couples. Some posed, and I direct the couple and come up with a variety of ideas when it comes to portraits. The availability for portraits depends on the time that I am given. If the wedding is run behind schedule, I could be given 20 mins or if we are ahead of schedule could be up to 2 hours. In this case, we can use the portrait time as a relaxed time and not rush along with bridal party photo's. Whereas less available time usually means we are there to take photos and as many as we can in a short amount of time. I typically take care of the wedding party first, and then at the end, I like to spend time with my couple and using that time with no distractions to focus on them and create something neat and creative. I noticed every-time there is more privacy, that is when the couple is the most relaxed and they can enjoy this time with each other. The best lighting for the portraits is 1 hour before sundown, and I call that the golden hour, sunset time. I try to create trust with my couples. Because when there is trust between the bride and groom and the photographer. Then we can ensure the best portraits and results.
