Outcomes Formation of the Gippsland Primary Care Reform Interest Group. Draft role statement/ terms of reference Vision Positioning Gippsland to optimise the outcomes of national primary health care reforms. Role Gippsland = Gippsland Primary health care stakeholders • To facilitate prompt access by Gippsland to information about national primary health care reform initiatives. • To support Gippsland to understand the implications of national primary health care reform initiatives. • To support Gippsland to influence national primary health care reform initiatives. • To support Gippsland providers to respond agilely, effectively and in a coordinated manner to emerging primary health care risks and opportunities.
So far ..... • Gippsland Division’s strong agreement to work together to progress under the reforms – when they are made clear. • Relationships with Primary Care stakeholders have been strengthened. • A Newly formed “Gippsland Primary Health Reform Interest Group” has been established and will meet for the first time on 25th May 2010.
