  2. Case Story 1: Defeating the fears… • Name of the Beneficiary: AminaBanu • Problem-Fear of past experience (still birth), economic condition, MAM • Intervention-Counseling, motivation, emotional support, Diet counseling • Outcome- Gained confidence, Healthy birth weight of 3 kg, MAM to Normal

Case Story 2: Little Nagarjun’s Breastfeeding triumph.... • Name of the Beneficiary: Nagarjun Rao • Problem: Breastfeeding problem , inverted nipples • Intervention: Counseling on proper positioning and attachment, building confidence. • Outcome: Exclusive Breast feeding and increased confidence

Case Story 3: Connecting community to the Anganwadi • Name of the Beneficiary: Nilofer Khan • Problem- MAM-7.35kg height 74 cm, poor uptake of ICDS services • Intervention: Creating awareness about ICDS and promoting proper feeding practices • Outcome- Consumption of THR, Regular participation in Growth Monitoring

Case Story 4: Detection of Thalessemia • Name of the Beneficiary - Arjun Pal • Problem- SAM (5.37 kg & 65.2cm), Undetected thalessemia Major • Intervention: DCC enrollment, detection of the disorder, linking to Sion hospital for blood transfusions and further treatment. • Outcome- Normal ( 8.01kg & 72.7cm). Regular blood transfusion and better health Before After

Case Story 4: Shagufta crosses all hurdles to a healthy heart surgery for life……. • Name of the Beneficiary: ShaguftaShaikh • Problem: Acute malnutrition and heart problem • Intervention: DCC Enrollment, MNT and SNT and referral to anganwadi • Outcome: Child gained weight and is ready for surgery. Expenditure will be borne by ICDS Current
