  1. CBS2 year MSc. programme in Bioinformatics • The programme consists of foundation courses in bioinformatics, statistics, molecular biology and programming • There is a variety of choices within specialist bioinformatics areas such as DNA microarrays, immunological bioinformatics, Gene Discovery, Molecular Evolution • CBS offers 7 courses in various fields of bioinformatics. Our department, BioCentrum offers various molecular biology and biotechnology related courses • All courses are taught in English and there are no tuition fees • The MSc. programme consists of 4 semesters, where the student should obtain 30 ECTS points per semester • The minimum requirement is 120 ECTS points, which is achieved by: compulsory courses (60 points), specialisation courses (15 points), and free choice courses from DTU (45 points) • The compulsory courses include a 6-12 months masters’ project in bioinformatics Admission requirements • The applicants should hold a degree (BSc., MSc. or similar) in biology, biochemistry, medicine, physics or similar • At least 5 ECTS points must have been obtained in biology, molecular biology, cell biology or genetics, and 10 ECTS points in mathematics
