When using a pronoun after a preposition, the pronoun must be in the objective case (object pronoun) So, the prepositional phrase starts with a preposition and ends with the object pronoun. Object of preposition preposition The parade went on despite (she, her) not being there
There was a huge chocolate birthday cake just waiting for (she, her). Over (they, them), there was a very dark and menacing cloud bringing yucky snow, again. Herman’s dog, Roger, brought the dead squirrel treasure to (he, him). Mrs. Birdsong chose the chatty girls instead of (we, us).
